Writers! Learn how focused relaxation (self-hypnosis) can enhance your writing process and creativity. Suzette Martinez Standring will lead ten writers on a memorable day retreat at her Cape Cod home on Saturday, 9/7/2019, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Meals are included: $150 advance registration, and writers of all experience levels are welcome. This workshop will use guided imagery to enhance writing creativity. FUN!

Savor a tranquil writers’ day retreat on Cape Cod with Suzette to mine the jewels from your past.  Meditation, self-hypnosis, trance, daydreaming mean the same thing: a relaxed and focused state of mind to imagine and create memorable writing.  This soothing and safe experience will form the basis of our time together to write on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at my home in East Falmouth, MA.

The day program is all inclusive: coffee and continental breakfast, a delicious lunch buffet with vegetarian options, and the program includes guided imagery exercises, writing prompts, and learning how to use self-hypnosis as a tool to deepen and enhance the writing process. My Cape Cod home has cozy nooks and spaces to write privately if you choose.

When the program ends at 3:30 p.m. there is time to take seaside walks, or visit nearby beaches or downtown Falmouth. Here’s the schedule.

8:30 a.m. Coffee and continental breakfast
9:00 a.m. Writing retreat begins

Noon to 1:00 p.m. Lunch provided

1:15-3:30 p.m. Writing retreat continues.
